The Conference

Two Days of Powerful Talks
15th-16th Nov 19
09:00 am

As Dravet syndrome is such a complex condition affecting so many areas of a patient’s life Dravet Syndrome UK host a Parent/Carer & Professional Conference every two years.

Our first conference was held in November 2010 in the south of England and attracted over 100 delegates. The second conference was held in November 2012 in Manchester and attracted 180 delegates.

We held our most recent event in Liverpool at Hilton One and were joined by guest speakers from across the world. The conference spanned two days with our Professional Day on Friday 17th November followed by a Parent & Carer Day on Saturday 18th November. 2017.

This year for 2019, we are delighted to offer yet another packed agenda of leading voices in Dravet Syndrome to bring you the latest updates, news and medical research and you can view and download the respective agendas below.

About Dravet Syndrome UK

Who are we?

Dravet Syndrome UK is an independent UK charity dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by Dravet Syndrome through support, education and medical research.  Dravet Syndrome UK operates on a national level and is made up of a team of trustees and five world-renowned professional advisors. This small team work very closely together to ensure we meet the needs of families affected by Dravet Syndrome, whilst working with professionals in the field of neurology on research projects.

Learn life-saving CPR

Parents/Carers can join one of three sessions held the day before Parent & Carer Day

CPR is a vital skill, especially for those caring for someone living with Dravet Syndrome.

CPR stands for cardiopulmonary resuscitation. It is an emergency life-saving procedure that is done when someone's breathing or heartbeat has stopped. This may happen after an electric shock, heart attack, or drowning. CPR combines rescue breathing and chest compressions.

Proud to present inspirational speakers from the world of Dravet Syndrome
